Karis May Darling Foundation

Last week I interviewed Kerry Darling & Jane from the Karis May Darling Foundation

Kerry spoke with great strength about the focus and enthusiasm form friends, family and the local community on their achievements during the last year.

The Karis May Darling Foundation, inspired by Karis who had immense talent in performing arts and Ju-Jitsu.  Karis was sadly taken at the age of 12 suddenly by Strep A when she had so much passion and drive to achieve her dreams. the foundation has been set up by Karis Family, to enable other  young people to achieve  their potential.  Karis saved 5 lives with the donations from her organs; the foundation would also like to raise awareness to organ donation

Kerri & family are so proud of Karis & even in the tragic loss of life is creating something for local kids in the community.

They appreciate the all the loving contributions and thank all who have put their hands in their pockets to give; & time to create & organise; they have currently raised over £91,000 for their foundation.

I met Sharon White our Gardening Guru very early this morning in her sunny potting shed, what a glorious morning.  I love the sound of nature and listening to the birds tweeting, finally we can have the door open, and let the outside warmth in!

Sharon has spoken today about earwigs! Not my favorite subject! lol! And her friend called the ‘cool dude’ that has resided in her van over the winter….I asked the question who is cool dude; I should have known it was the resident ladybird!

Sharon mentioned the information on the British snake survey the Adder, the details of these links are as follows
