Bank Holiday dates 4th and 5th of June for the Queens Jubilee will run Sunday bus services across all routes around Basildon and East Thurrock. Check First Group Essex website for more information on your routes timetable.

Saturday 2nd June 2012: c2c will operate a normal Saturday service with Laindon and Ockendon route services strengthened to eight coaches.

Sunday 3rd June 2012: c2c will operate a normal Sunday service on the Laindon and Ockendon route with all services strengthened to eight coaches. An enhanced service will be operated on the Rainham route, the Barking to Grays shuttle service will be withdrawn and replaced by two trains per hour between Fenchurch Street and Grays via Rainham, and an extra earlier morning and later evening service will also run.

Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th June 2012: c2c will operate a normal Saturday service with Laindon and Ockendon route services strengthened to eight coaches.

Greater Anglia
Train operator Greater Anglia will be running a Saturday frequency of service on the Bank Holidays of Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th June 2012, celebrating H.M. The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Local services from Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street will therefore run to a Saturday service rather than the normal Sunday timetable on Bank Holidays, and will run at an hourly frequency.

London Underground
The majority of services will be operating as normal over the Diamond Jubilee weekend. The Richmond to Willesden Junction and South Tottenham to Barking sections of the line will not operate due to engineering work.

Avoid travelling through London if you’re not attending an event. To avoid delays, plan your journey in advance and check before you travel. You can expect public transport will be busier than usual. Visit the TfL website to plan your journey into and out of London, and buy tickets in advance to save time and avoid queues.

Picnic in the Park – Monday 4th June 2012 – 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Noak Bridge Parish Council are holding a picnic in the Park from 2-6pm on the Wash Road Playing Field. Go Bonkers inflatables, Skittleman Childrens Entertainer, face painting, tatoos, Gateway 97.8, Kayzar Street Dance show, children’s fancy dress best dressed red, white and blue outfit, for Queen or King. Bring along a picnic, friends and relatives and celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. All proceeds on the day will be split between Essex Air Ambulance and Cancer Research UK.
