Digital Blues on Gateway 97.8 – Wednesday 19^th March – a cornucopia of  24 great tracks from artists old and new blues including the gig guide, four birthdays and some tracks from contestants in this year’s European Blues Challenge.

We open with Matt Schofield then there are new releases from The Riotous Brothers, The Proof, Stark, Erja Lyytinen and Dukesy & the Hazzards. The European Blues Challengers A Contra Blues, Fenzl Experience and David Migden & the Twisted Roots followed by last year’s German representative Tommy Schneller who has a new CD produced by Henrik Freischlader who also plays on the CD plus a track from Henrik and from another artist who he produced, Layla Zoe

There are slices of birthday cake for Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Marcia Ball, Jimmie Vaughan and Otis Spann whilst the gig guide has tracks from Rag Mama Rag, 24 Pesos, Simon McBride, the Spikedrivers, Laurence Jones, Christina Skjolberg and Albert Castiglia with the Barcodes rounding things off!
