The clocks go forward on Sunday so this week’s Digital Blues on Gateway 97.8 has a fresh, British Summer Time feel about it! (No I don’t know what I am talking about either!)

There is a slice of birthday cake for Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), new & newish releases from The Smoke Wagon Blues Band,Marcus Malone.,Nick Moss Band, Hot Tin Roof, Mark Harrison, Michael Harrison Blues, Brandon Isaak, Kevin Jordan & Reece Hills, Mississippi MacDonald & the Cottonmouth Kings, Ron Cartel, Blueshound and Jimmy Wolf.

Opening the gig guide is a blast from the past with Red White & Bluesy and then there are tracks from Rag Mama Rag, the Papa George Band, Jeff Chapman’s Roosters, Big Mamma’s Door and Scarlet Rae & the Cherry Reds.

The show rounds off with three big dollops of gorgeousness from Todd Sharpville (with the lovely Sam Brown), David Migden & the Dirty Words and Katie Bradley and I close with some Boogie from the Chicago Blues Reunion.

It’s another cracker!
