Another great show on this week’s edition of the British Blues Awards nominated Digital Blues on Gateway 97.8 including tracks from the nominees in the Overseas Artist and Acoustic Artist categories.

I open with trackS from the brand new CDs from Royal Southern Brotherhood and Walter Trout plus tracks from fellow nominees Buddy Whittington, JJ Grey & Mofro, Paul Lamb & the Detroit Breakdown and Henrik Freischlader. Acoustic gems follow from Marcus Bonfanti, Blues Boy Dan Owen, Wooden Horse, Kyle & Moore, Half Deaf Clatch and Babajack. Then, randomly, tracks featuring other nominees from La Vendore Rogue, Chantel McGregor and Wilko Johnson & Roger Daltrey.

In a busy gig guide there are tracks from Moreland & Arbuckle, Hamilton Loomis, Hat Fitz & Cara Robinson, Veronica Sbergia & Max di Bernardi, Dani Wilde, Todd Sharpville, Blues Situation, Tim Aves & Wolfpack, John Crampton and Rollo Markee & the Tailshakers.

To close there are tracks from Ian Siegal and Little Mike & the Tornadoes.

Crikey! It’s a cracker alright!
