On Digital Blues on Gateway 97.8 this Wednesday, an even more packed show than usual and not a trace of horse DNA anywhere!

There are the first two Digital Blues nominations in the Kevin Thorpe Memorial Award for Original British Blues Song from Joanne Shaw Taylor and Tom Doughty – vote at www.britishbluesawards.co.uk/digitalblues.htm

Following my weekend at the 2013 European Blues Challenge, I have tracks from the winners and runners-up plus a great live recording by Harpcore from Poland as well as tracks from Germany’s Tommy Schneller Band and Belgium’s Hideaway.

In the gig guide there are tracks from Maria Muldaur, Bad Influence, Larry Miller Band, Simon McBride, Joe Louis Walker, Mud Morganfield and NuBlues.

On the new and recent release front there are tracks from an unreleased CD by Nick Cohen feat Paddy Milner plus Navacross, Blue Touch, Kathy Murray, Jesse Dee, Kit Packham’s One Jump Ahead and GZT

Yeah baby! That’s what I like!
