Oh well, oh well, oh well! It’s another two hours of great blues and real r’n’b on this week’s Digital Blues on Gateway 97.8 with the usual wonderfully eclectic mix of tracks new and not so new!
New releases from the No Refund Band, Otis Grand, the Ben Racine Band, James Buddy Rogers, The City Boy All Stars, the Geoff Everett Band and and unreleased track from Arthur Adams. Plus there is a trio of great live tracks from, by special request, Sherman Robertson & Blues Move (get well soonSherman), Erja Lyytinen and the Jimmy Bowskill Band.
In the gig guide we have the WT Feaster Band, Trafficker, the Robin Bibi Band, Ian Siegal & the Mississippi Mudbloods, Simon McBride and the Royal Southern Brotherhood. There are two more tracks from Jogck’s Juke Joint Vol 1 a compendium of great blues fromScotlandwith tracks from the Frank O’Hagen Band and Willie Logan.
Finally, there are slices of birthday cake for the late Hubert Sumlin with track from Howlin’ Wolf andKirsten Thienand also for Tab Benoit.
