Two hours of great blues and real r’n’b on this week’s Digital Blues on Gateway 97.8 with the usual wonderfully eclectic mix of tracks new and not so new!
In the gig guide we have Big Boy Bloater& the Limits, John Crampton, Big Mamma’s Door, Rob Tognoni and we look ahead to this weekend’s Carlisle Blues and Rock Festival with tracks from Ian Siegal & the Mississippi Mudbloods, the Groove-a-matics featuring Johnny Whitehill, thePaul CoxBand, the Jon AmorBlues Group and Lisa Mills.
Opening the show are tracks from the same week’s show one and two years ago so we have Los Fabulocos featuring Kid Ramos,Jim Allchin, Kilborn Alley Blues Band,ChrisRea,Tim Royce, Hugh Lawrie and Cyndi Lauper and, keeping the N’Awlins theme going, Tipitina.
There are slices of birthday cake for Ike Turner and Bonnie Raitt, new releases from Dalannah Gail Bowen & Them Menz and Arthur Adams plus a couple of not so new tracks from Matthew Curry & the Fury and Ronnie Earl.
