Autism Show – July 2023

All Things Autism in Essex returned in July with Aston Avery and regular contributor Anna Kennedy OBE from autism charity Annakennedyonline.

They spoke about the latest news from the charity and within the autism community.

The first of Aston and Anna’s guests was Autism’s Got Talent performer Dylan Pitt.

The second of Aston and Anna’s guests was Paul Micaleff.

The third of Aston and Anna’s guests was Jo Lucking.

Anna had this to say after show:

“Another busy show talking ‘All things Autism in Essex’ for Aston and I in the month of July. So good to be back in the studio too.

Our guests today were Dylan Pitt, Paul Micalef and Jo Lucking.

Dylan was one of the Autism’s got Talent Roadshow performers in Stockton and this week performed once again where Daisy Chain Charity won Northeast Charity of the year. I am so proud of this charity as one of their Patrons. They are going from strength to strength. 

We are looking forward to seeing Dylan perform on Autism’s got Talentin London on October 14^th at Mermaid Theatre . Tickets are now on sale.

A show not to be missed!!!

Our second guest Paul Micallef on a visit from Australia. Paul discovered he was on the Autism Spectrum several years ago at the age of 30. Since then, he has worked with countless autistic adults and children, as well as teaching parents understand about autism. Paul is also an aerospace engineer with a passion for teaching and Emotional Intelligence.

Our final guest was Jo Lucking. Jo runs a cake shop called Twisted Treats. She is about to move premises to a bigger shop in the centre of Colchester, and she is trying to make it as neurodivergent friendly as possible. Jo is neurodivergent as are some of her staff.

Twisted Treats started with one main goal, to spread happiness…. She hopes to open the new bigger shop later in the Summer. Aston and I will be first in line to try the delicious cakes and brownies she spoke about yum!!!
