Anna had this to say after the show:

“Another great show on ‘All things Autism in Essex’ with my charity Ambassador Aston Avery. We had lots of news to share and some really great guests on the show.

“Our first guest was the lovely Olivia Slatter who is proud to be a member of the autistic community. She has been a musician from the age of 8 and played the flute alongside 7 other instruments, it turned that she can just pick up create things quickly. She is also an artist and loves to draw and paint. Life was not easy she was bullied through school by teachers and students for not being understood. A family friend , helped train her voice and she performed at a VIP event in London 2018. She won a competition where over 1500 entered. She sang ‘O Bambino Caro ‘by Puccini.

“Olivia now shared she has moved house and is studying at Lincolns Bishop Grossetete University music and musicianship. We all wish Olivia the best of luck!

“The Lovely Pamela Kosminsky once again gave a fitness session and Aston joined in the studio . Go Aston!

“Hayley Harding Founder of the ‘Let us Learn too’ campaign joined Aston and I and shared how the campaign was progressing after being launched this week. My husband Sean and I are proud to have contributed and signed the ‘Let us Learn too’ letter in collaboration with many other individuals and groups passionate about the right to a good education for our children. As you know with our own 2 sons, we had a huge battle in 1997 where in the end we had to create our own school. So sad to see and hear about parent still struggling to find a school that can meet their child’s needs. All children have the right to an education. We are calling on PM Boris Johnson to make vital reforms so children with special educational needs get the right support at school.
