Basildon Heritage Centre

Basildon Heritage Centre is located at the Green Centre at Wat Tyler Country Park in Pitsea, Basildon. On occassions they use the Benbow Club in Bowers Gifford if the Green Centre is unavailable.

They have history of places, people and even events that took place within the Basildon Borough Area through it’s history. They would show those by photo’s and also pamphlets. One of events they held was in the summer of 2023 was our History of Radio project which ran for a month.
