It’s official – women are better with money than men.

New research has found women to be more financially responsible than their male counterparts, with men more likely to impulse buy, contrary to popular belief. In fact, men are dropping £65 per month on spur-of-the-moment buys compared to £54 for women.

Women were also more likely to know exactly how much money they have in their current and savings accounts, according to the survey by investment platform eToro.

Aston spoke to media psychologist Dr Linda Papadopoulos who gave more information on the psychological side of saving, spending, and managing finances.
