Brits ‘struggling with their mental health

To mark World Mental Health Day the British Psychotherapy Foundation have conducted research into the nation’s mental health and their attitudes towards therapy.

It found 70% of Brits are struggling with their mental health and just 20% said they know how to deal with mental health issues.

Psychotherapy, otherwise known as talking therapy, is the use of communications like talking or through entertainment, to help a person change behaviour and overcome their problems and it’s proven to be popular in the U.K.

Aston spoke to Frances Gillies, psychotherapist & CEO of British Psychotherapy Foundation.
