Brits want to work from home despite government advice to get back to the office

New research has revealed that more than 2 in 3 (68%) Brits say they would like to work from home or away from the office regularly in the future – with this increasing to 81% in the 25 to 34 year old demographic.

The research comes as ‘work from home’ measures have been scrapped in the UK, and many return to the office full time. However, whilst there have been murmurings of a gradual return to the office, with commuter journeys up 8% in the London for example, it seems the Covid-19 pandemic has changed office life forever.

The research also found that over a quarter (28%) of UK adults say that people who work from home have a better quality of life. What’s more, whilst almost half (46%) of participants say they miss the social interaction of the office, 1 in 4 (26%) say they don’t miss anything at all about office working.
