Celebrating 20 years of Movember

Twenty years ago, a bristly idea was conceived in a bar in Fitzroy, Australia, igniting a movement that would transcend borders and change the face of men’s health forever. 

The movement, known as Movember, united people from all walks of life, inspiring supporters to ‘grow a mo’ and to use their faces as walking, talking billboards for men’s health, as well as other ways to get involved.  

As a result, billions of important conversations have been started, vital funds raised and the silence surrounding men’s health issues have been shattered.

Aston spoke to Tom Ellis, director of social impacts campaign at Movember and Tom D’Souza, global innovation manager at Movember.
