Motorsport Update – 9th November

Motorsport at elite level can continue as they have rigorous testing in place however due to the lockdown, all races will be held behind closed doors.

The British GT Championship hosted its final round of the season with a 3 hour endurance race at Silverstone. Huge congratulations to Barwell Motorsport drivers, Sandy Mitchell and former BTCC Driver Rob Collard for winning the GT3 class in a Lamborghini Huracan GT3.

F1 heads to Istanbul Park for Round 14 of the 2020 Season with Mercedes’s Lewis Hamilton leading the Drivers Championship by 85 Points from temmate Valtteri Bottas. Hamilton could wrap up the drivers title this weekend if he finishes ahead of Bottas or finishes in 2nd with Bottas not scoring fastest lap.

The BTCC heads to Brands Hatch Indy for the season finale with WSR Team BMW’s Colin Turkington leading the championship by 9 points from Ash Sutton in the Laser Tools Racing Infinti Q50. Both races will be held behind closed doors.
