Free skin consultations offered To Brits

This Black Friday, people across the UK are being encouraged to check in on their skin before they hit checkout on skincare products.

This take on the biggest shopping event of the year comes at a time when our skincare needs start to change as we head into the colder winter months. In fact, results from a recent survey show that almost 8 million Brits (14%) agree their skin worsens in the winter months, with a further 17% saying their skincare needs change as a result.

However, when it comes to using skincare products and following advice, people aren’t necessarily looking in the right place. Ideally, we should be turning to the experts for skin related queries, much like we would with other aspects of our health, however barriers such as costs, locations and wait times can make it difficult to speak to a dermatologist or expert. And over a quarter of those surveyed did not know they could speak to a professional about their skin related issues.

To combat this, the number one dermatologist recommended skincare brand in the UK, La Roche-Posay, are teaming up with 25 dermatologists and skin experts across the UK to give 1000 free virtual1:1 consultations on Black Friday.
