Half way point reached on Strictly Come Dancing 2023

Following the elimination of Love Island’s Zara McDermott the remaining 9 couples took to the dancefloor to impress the judges and the public.

Topping the judges leaderboard for the second week running was former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach and her dance partner Vito Coppola scoring 39 out of 40 for their American Smooth.

For the second week running actor Adam Thomas and his dance partner Luba Mushtuk found themselves in the dance off where they were joined by legendary broadcaster Angela Rippon and her dance partner Kai Widdrington. The judges voted unaminously to save Angela meaning Adam’s time on Strictly Come Dancing is over.

Strictly Come Dancing will return this weekend where 8 will become 7 ahead of Blackpool week.
