Halloween week on Strictly Come Dancing

Following the elimination of football legend and pundit Paul Merson, the remaining 11 couples took to the dancefloor to impress the judges and the public. All of the routines had a Halloween theme.

Eastenders actor Jamie Borthwick and his dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas topped the judges leaderboard for the second week running and they were joined by actress Sarah Hadland and her dance partner Vito Coppola both scoring 38/40 for their American Smooth and Argentine Tango respectively.

For the second this series actor and singer Shayne Ward and his dance partner Nancy Xu found themselves in the dance off and they were joined by media medic Dr Punam Krishan and her dance partner Gorka Marquez. The judges unaminously voted to save Shayne meaning that Dr Punam became the fifth celebrity to be eliminated.

Strictly Come Dancing returns this weekend for Icons week.
