Jasmine Birtles on why we’re saving money by turning to our neighbours

Britain is a nation of friendly neighbours as over a third of Brits believe they have saved money thanks to the kindness of their communities, with over half of those (60%) saving themselves as much as 200 a year.

Nextdoor, the neighbourhood network, has commissioned this research to find out how communities are turning to one another to offer help and support, especially during these difficult times.

Helping with groceries, repairing a household issue and pet sitting are the top three ways in which neighbours have helped each other out in the last year.
