Lauren Rowles highlights Disability History Month

Disability History Month is an annual celebration of the achievements of disabled people throughout history.

Just Like Us’ research has shown that while LGBT+ young people face disproportionate challenges, disabled LGBT+ young people are faced with even greater barriers.

The charity’s 2023 research report Positive Futures showed that 96% of disabled LGBT+ respondents said they had experienced anxiety, depression or panic attacks in the last year.
