The festive season has passed, it’s the start of a new year and things are heading back to normality… so perhaps thoughts will turn to this years’ holiday. 

Sun, sea, sand and relaxation are maybe just a dream right now but, if like 2023, more than half (58%) of us are flying abroad this year then it may soon be a reality. 

Even those who say they read their policy documents cover to cover think they’ll be covered for any natural disaster (74%), strikes (65%) or driving any vehicle (62%), which suggests that even reading the documentation carefully doesn’t give people the complete picture of what is and is not covered by their policy.
