Listen: making 2023 the year of me

The UK is taking their health seriously and are putting positive steps forward to become the best versions of themselves in 2023, according to new research.

80% of UK adults will be taking steps to improve their health this year after a worrying 78% have health concerns with their weight being their biggest worry (24%) followed by their mental wellbeing (22%).

However, despite 22% of us concerned for their mental health only one in 10 will speak more about it.

The findings from Bupa Health Clinics also discovered 75% would prioritise the heath of a loved one over their own with 33% of men saying they do this.

Aston spoke to Dr Samantha Wild, clinical lead for women’s health and GP at Bupa Health Clinics.
