Listen: the year for a healthy you
The decorations are down, the leftovers have gone, and it is time to think positive, look ahead and be determined to complete our healthy new year’s resolutions… but are we setting ourselves up for failure?
January always seems to be the longest month of the year which we often make harder for ourselves by cutting down on some of the things we love the most.
This January, more than a quarter (28%) of us will be going on a diet for a number of reasons – 40% want to feel better about themselves and 38% want to boost their mental wellbeing.
However, 42% admit they dread the January diet , with 47% not making it past the first week, according to the research by recipe box company Gousto.
Aston spoke to dietician Claire Thornton-Wood.
