Love Island’s Kai Fagan on hidden jobs

Love Island star and secondary school teacher, Kai Fagan, has teamed up with Technicians: We Make the Difference to shine a light on exciting but under-the-radar jobs that teenagers don’t know about.

The collaboration comes as nearly one in four (24%) teenagers admit to having little or no knowledge of the opportunities within their dream sectors and nearly half (47%) still think that university is essential to get the job they want.

Despite such a large proportion of young people believing university is necessary for a future job, this is not necessarily true for the roles which excite teenagers the most, including everything from being an Engineer (14%), a Footballer (9%) and a Computer Scientist (8%).
