The amusement arcades, building sandcastles on the beach and spending your pocket money on a stick of rock or some candy floss, a UK holiday park was a popular and affordable way to holiday in the 70s and 80s. Filled with cherished memories, almost 9 million of us feel nostalgic about our childhood holidays.
Half of us (50%) have returned to a UK holiday destination which we went to as a child, with 43% saying multiple generations in the family have visited the same destination, according to new research by Hoseasons.
