New treatment set to change the lives of those living with IBS

Cramps, bloating, and never venturing far without making sure there’s a toilet nearby.

These are just some of the things those suffering with IBS – the most common gastrointestinal condition seen by GPs – are faced with every day. 

The NHS estimates around 13 million people in the UKĀ haveĀ irritable bowel syndrome, but many of these do not reach out for medical advice.
