New research, has revealed that there are several major misconceptions about strokes which will inhibit family and friend’s ability to support their loved ones.

For example, over a quarter (27%) of the UK don’t actually recognise that strokes occur in the brain – highlighting a nation-wide lack of knowledge around Britain’s fourth biggest killer.

Aston spoke to stroke survivor Erin Losty and also Jane Cryer the head of Engagement at Stroke Association all about the campaign and the research as well.
