Saira Khan on getting on the property ladder

According to research, UK adults are now postponing major life milestones to allow them to get on the property ladder.  

A quarter say they are putting off tying the knot until they can afford a mortgage, while 15% don’t want to have children until they have secured their bricks and mortar.

The study, commissioned by Yorkshire Building Society* found a third would even avoid buying a new car, while 55% aren’t going on holidays.
