Strictly Come Dancing 2024 launch show

Strictly Come Dancing is back for 2024 and with it the launch show which saw the 15 announced celebrities paired with their professional partner who could take them to the Glitterball trophy.

2 professionals returned to the line up this year who are Amy Dowden who sat out last year due to her treatment for breast cancer and Aljaz Skorjanec returned after 2 years away.

The pairings for 2024 are as follows:

• Eastenders actor Jamie Borthwick with professional partner Michelle Tsiakkas
• Olympic gold medalist swimmer Tom Dean with professional partner Nadiya Bychkova
• Olympian & Gladiator Montell Douglas with professional partner Johannes Radebe
• Opera singer Wynne Evans with 2017 winning professional Katya Jones
• Love Island’s Tasha Ghouri with 2013 winning professional Aljaz Skorjanec
• JLS singer JB Gill with professional partner Amy Dowden
• Actress Sarah Hadland with 2023 winning professional Vito Coppola
• TV presenter Nick Knowles with professional partner Luba Mushtuk
• GP and media medic Dr Punam Krishan with professional partner Gorka Marquez
• Comedian Chris McCausland with professional partner Dianne Buswell
• Football legend & pundit Paul Merson with professional partner Karen Hauer
• Olympic gold medalist hockey player & TV presenter Sam Quek with professional partner Nikita Kuzmin
• Singer (2005 X Factor winner) & actor Shayne Ward with professional partner Nancy Xu
• TOWIE’s Pete Wicks with 2022 winning professional Jowita Przystal

They will all perform this Saturday for judges scores only when Strictly Come Dancing returns.
