Following the elimination of Olympic gold medalist and TV presenter Sam Quek, the remaining 9 couples took to the dancefloor to impress the judges and the public as they attempt to earn a place in Blackpool. For the rest of the series professional dancer Amy Dowden will not take part alongside JLS singer JB Gill after picking up an injury, so Lauren Oakley will will partner JB for the rest of the series.
For the second week running JLS singer JB Gill and his dance partner Lauren Oakley and Love Island’s Tasha Ghouri and her dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec topped the judges leaderboard with a score of 37/40 for their Samba and Quickstep respectively.
For the third time this series singer and actor Shayne Ward and his dance partner Nancy Xu found themselves in the dance off and they joined by opera singer Wynne Evans and his dance partner Katya Jones. The judges voted to keep Wynne meaning Shayne is now out of Strictly Come Dancing 2024.
Strictly Come Dancing returns this weekend where the remaining 8 couples will be dancing in Blackpool.
