Strictly Come Dancing 2020 winners announced

This past weekend was the final of Strictly Come Dancing.

The finalists were:

• Comedian Bill Bailey and his dance partner Oti Mabuse
• Singer HRVY and his dance partner Janette Manrara
• Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing and his dance partner Karen Hauer
• Eastenders star from Southend Maisie Smith and her dance partner Gorka Marquez

Every finalist had to perform 3 dances (judges choice, showdance and couples favourite). There was a 3 way tie at the top of judges leaderboard with Bill, HRVY and Maisie topping it with a combined score of 88 out of 90.

However judges scores were only a guideline. The public votes were the only thing that counted to crown this year’s Strictly Come Dancing champion.

The public votes meant that your Strictly Come Dancing champions for 2020 are comedian Bill Bailey and his dance partner Oti Mabuse.
