Week 1 on Strictly Come Dancing 2024

After founding out who they were paired with, all 15 couples took to the dancefloor for their first routines in their quest to be Strictly Come Dancing champions for 2024. This week no one was eliminated they were only being marked by the judges.

Topping the judges leaderboard for week 1 was JLS singer JB Gill with his dance partner the returning Amy Dowden with a score of 31/40 for their waltz. Not far behind them both scoring 30/40 were Love Island’s Tasha Ghouri and her dance partner the returning Aljaz Skorjanec and actress Sarah Hadland and her dance partner Vito Coppola for their cha-cha-cha and quickstep respectively. Bottom of the judges leaderboard for week 1 was singer and actress Toyah Wilcox and her dance partner Neil Jones with a score of 12/40 for their tango.

The scores from week 1 will be carried over to this weekend where the first couple will be eliminated.

Strictly Come Dancing returns for week 2 this weekend where on Sunday the first couple will see their hopes of claiming the glitterball trophy come to an end via the dance off.
