More than a third (36%) of adults believe children who are good at playing Christmas board games like Monopoly are more likely to become entrepreneurs in later life.
One in 10 (11%) even say the person they’d most likely turn to for business or career advice is the one who excels at these games.
The research, commissioned by Virgin StartUp, comes at a time when more than one in four (26%) say they plan to launch a business in 2023; the figure rises to 46% for 18–24-year-olds.
Ros spoke to Andy Fishburn, managing director at Virgin StartUp.
