World Hearing Day

Our hearing is often something we take for granted. Whether that’s the sound of a loved one laughing, birds chirping or our favourite song playing on the radio.

Sounds play a vital role for in our lives, not just for listening to music or communicating but also for our emotional wellbeing and memory.

So, for World Hearing Day, 3rd March, Specsavers and the British Association for Music Therapy, is encouraging everyone to take steps in protecting their hearing so they can continue to be transported back to these happy moments in their life.

Ros spoke to Clare Maddocks from British Association for Music Therapy.
