Today, Gateway 97.8 celebrates its 10th birthday. The station, which has been serving the community for a decade, broadcasts across Basildon and East Thurrock.
Stephen Metcalfe, MP for South Basildon and East Thurrock, congratulated the team:
“I was very pleased to hear that your excellent community radio station will be ten years old.
“May I wish Gateway 97.8 a very happy 10th birthday and hope it continues to go from strength to strength.”
