Battle of the Bands Show

Be sure to tune in to the Live & Loud show this coming Sunday with Ryan for a jam packed show!

Unlike most shows, this week it’s a Battle of the Bands special. Why? I’ll tell you. As I’m sure you’re well aware, the closing date for entries to this years competition is the 3rd March, only a day or two before the show, meaning that the bands competing in the heats can be announced almost as soon as the applications are received!

The first half hour or so of the show will be a recap of last years event – playing a track or two of last years winners, runners up, and maybe even the year before that!

Then, the remainder of the show will be solely dedicated to telling you about this years competition; Who’s competing, playing a track from each of the bands, a bit about them, and so on; When the heats will be taking place, how the bands will be selected, and which band is on which date; and finally, the main event – When is it, where is it, and so on.

So be sure to tune in this week for an extra special Battle of the Bands special – Sunday, 4-6 on Gateway 97.8
