Valid entries require your name, email address and contact phone number.
Your Data
Gateway 97.8 will only use your personal details for the purposes of administering the competition, and will not publish them or provide them to any other party without your permission.
Limits on Submissions
Only one entry per person is permitted, unless otherwise stated. Automated entries will be invalidated; including multiple entries from the same IP, email address or telephone number range. Entries using false names or addresses or falsely representing age are disqualified. Winning claimants must be willing to provide additional proof of identity or address if requested by Gateway 97.8.
Gateway 97.8 will not be liable for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by any person taking part or not being able to take part in a competition.
Prize Draws
In the case of a prize draw, the first correct entry drawn will be the winner. The winner’s name will be drawn shortly after the closing time and date specified. The winner will be informed by email or telephone. We will display the winner’s name on air and publish it on the Gateway 97.8 website. Only winners may receive the prizes. Prizes are offered as stated and cannot be deferred or transferred. There will be no cash alternatives. Entrants must supply full details as required and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prizes.
No responsibility is accepted for fraudulent, inaudible or ineligible entries.
Who Can Enter a Competition?
Gateway 97.8 competitions are neither open to members, employees or contractors of Gateway 97.8, nor any person directly or indirectly* involved in Gateway 97.8 or the sponsorship, promotion
or running of the competition.
This competition is neither open to members, employees and contractors of the Towngate Theatre, nor any person directly or indirectly* involved in the Towngate Theatre.
Gateway 97.8 reserves the right to cancel a competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside its control.
The closing date is at midnight on Sunday 1st September.
Proof of making a phone call, sending post/e-mail/text does not prove receipt of your entry. Gateway 97.8 accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed or damaged entries
Claiming Prizes
Prizes unclaimed after 28 days will be deemed forfeit and Gateway 97.8 reserves the right to offer such prizes to the entrant whose name is next drawn at random, to re-offer the prize in a future competition or to treat the competition as closed with no winner. In the event of a prize becoming unavailable, we reserve the right to furnish an alternative of equal or greater value.
Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and any supplementary rules specific to any particular competition including those rules applicable to usage of tickets or vouchers supplied by third party sponsors.
Competitions on Gateway 97.8 are administered by Gateway 97.8.
* Includes any member of such person’s family and members of the same household (including, but not limited to, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents etc).
