On Monday 13th October I popped down to a brand new charity shop that opened in Pitsea, Preloved Bargains.
Unfortunately it wasn’t the nicest of weather, but that didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits.

Staff and volunteers were all very friendly and nice to talk to and had worked really hard to get everything ready for the launch.

Preloved Bargains is partnered with Children with Cancer UK. Sam Ottey, the owner of Preloved Bargains had managed to get a wonderful woman to travel down from London to cut the ribbon and attend this event. That woman was none other than Mary Foulkes who is the Chief Executive for Children with Cancer UK. I managed to sit down and have a chat with both Mary and Sam.
