Elvis Presley’s Greatest Hits

Elvis Presley was born in 1935 in Tupelo Mississippi and died in 1977 from a heart attack. During his career, Presley was nicknamed the King Of Rock And Roll (The King) after his rise in the 1950s and 1960s. He even served in the U.S Air Force at one point during the 1950s.

Some of Elvis Presley’s greatest hit songs include:

  • First Number 1 Hit: I Forgot To Remember To Forget [1955]
  • Film Music: Jailhouse Rock, King Creahole And Love Me Tendor
  • 1962 N.01 Hit Song: Good Luck Charm
  • 1968: If I can Dream: Presley Performed the song in memory of Martin Luther King JR. One of the greatest Presley Hit Songs.
  • 1969: One of the most notable hit songs of Presley’s career. Suspicious Minds was released and was Presley’s first N.01 Hit since 1962’s Good Luck Charm.
  • 1971: An American Trilogy. (Themed Around A Civil War)
  • 1970s: Covers Of My Way And Bridge Over Troubled Water are a hit with the general public and Presley’s eye catching vocals. (Simon And Garfunkel And Frank Sintra were both the original artists for these two songs)
