Reform UK win big in Basildon Council elections

Candidates from Reform UK are celebrating a successful night in the Basildon local elections.

Nigel Farage’s party picked up almost all of the seats available overnight.

Labour suffered the worst losses, with many members walking out of the count before the results were declared. 

Basildon Council remains in no overall control and the next council leader is yet to be determined.
