If you’ve listened to every single one of my shows over the best part of the last six years (surely no-one has !) then you’ve heard 299 of them, and if you are reading this ahead of the repeat play this Saturday you are about to hear the 300th !!
Each week I select a varied bunch of much loved tunes from the soul, jazz-funk and disco days of the 70s & 80s, sometimes even reaching back for the odd 60s track and usually featuring a small handful from the 90s 00s and even ‘now’ that have those same great “real” values as the old classics.
It’s all about the music of course and being unashamedly nostalgic for the “good old days” but I also list some “recommended old gits nights out” you can attend over the next few weeks playing similar music – and have a tendency to waffle on like only I can, which unbelievably some people actually find entertaining too !! 😉
