Ugh. It happens every year. As soon as Wimbledon gets underway my defences start to get weak, the eyes start to itch and the nose explodes at regular intervals – hayfever hits back ! Doing stuff like playing golf, strolling in the park, eating al fresco in the garden or even driving with the window open when people are mowing their lawns nearby are all big “No-No’s” – so sitting in our lovely studio at Gateway playing super soul music is a wonderful sanctuary away from it all. But don’t worry, it’s usually all over by the time Andy Murray gets knocked out, so I should be back to normal before next week’s show …
