I probably whinged about it being sooooo cold back in the depths of winter, but here we are six months on and now I am moaning about it being tooooooo hot !! You’ll get used to me – it’s all part of being an “Old Git” ! 😉 But when you have stuff to do that involves being on your toes all day, humping things around, driving from place to place and having to be somewhere else on time at the end of the day, a hot day really is no fun !
But, of course, our lovely soul tunes do sound sooooo much better in the sunshine – the memories come floody back of super soul night events by the seaside and fantastic all-dayers under blue skies, so if you can, sit back and enjoy two hours of top quality soul, jazz-funk & disco from 5pm today on the repeat play edition of my show or tune in to the new live one on Monday at 7pm …
