Well, it’s looking very much like I am at a loose end this Saturday night, but if I am able to get out, then there are no shortage of soul events as you can see from the list below ! On our doorstep here in South Essex, over in Kent, one-off gigs, all-dayers or even a whole weekender – it’s all on this week. My mate Dave Marley, who lives really close to the Gateway studios, is putting on the “Bless The Funk” weekender event in Clacton and has legendary radio DJ Greg Edwards as the special guest on Saturday night – if you are really quick and have the whole weekend free, or just fancy popping in for a session, you might secure one of the last few tickets. Meanwhile, my own Saturday night plans will start with a dash home to listen to my fab show on a repeat play from 5pm, then decide whether I go out or stay in and thrash Nathan at FIFA 09 on Wii … 😉
