Neil Gits Very Tired

It comes with the territory of being an “Old Git” I suppose, but this week it really was a struggle to find the energy and keep my concentration levels up after pushing myself to the limit doing what I do – non-stop quiz nights, wedding discos, Xmas parties and of course the radio show ! I don’t think I’ve ever felt so knackered stepping into the studio on a Monday evening, but it was lovely to sit back and relax in there sharing some quality tunes with my lovely listeners – however by Wednesday morning the throast was sore, the “tickle” at the back of it had kept me up most of the night and I spent a large portion of my midweek being a “Grumpy Old Git” ! 🙁

Luckily, I was able to take a little time out before this weekend started and by drinking an awful lot of fruit juice, watching LOTS of rubbish telly on the sofa and squeezing in an extra half hour in bed at the risk of being late for the school run here I am fit as a fiddle again plugging the repeat play of my show which is on Gateway at 5pm today !! 🙂  Take a look at the playlist below and if you are feeling the way I felt earlier this week, see if there is any soul, jazz-funk or disco included with the magic healing powers that might just work on you !
