I had to pre-record this week’s show again after remembering at short notice that Nathan’s annual Xmas school production was on a Monday evening at 6pm – an neither of us could make Tuesday’s peformance ! So I sat for an hour in the back row (I forgot my admission programme = not a good seat!!) in the Key Stage 2 hall at Brightside trying to get a peek of my son and I do believe that, in between all the heads and shoulders of other mums and dads in front of me, I did catch a five second glipse of him shuffling across the stage in a Santa hat. He did tell me later that he was one of the 50 or so kids waving sticks with bits of coloured tinsel on in the air towards the end and that if I heard anyone cough a couple of times, that was him too…
So it wasn’t a great experience, but at least I got to hear some of me on the radio on the way home, so it wasn’t all bad ! Judge for yourself, this Saturday at 5pm …
