I had a difficult choice to make last Monday daytime – either finish preparing my Tuesday night quiz for The Inn On The Green in Billericay and avoid the stress of the previous two weeks caused by waiting till the actual day of the event … OR … spend my time putting together a really good “Old Gits Soul Show” recording some extra special vinyl tracks onto MP3 instead of throwing a few tunes in a box of CDs and hoping it all turned out alright ! Luckily for you dear listener, I opted for the latter and of course I spent FAR too long choosing every song and fine tuning every small detail, so much so that I nearly didn’t have time for my traditional Monday lunchtime bacon sarnie ! If I say so myself, I think it was one of the best live shows I’ve done with one superb song after another – check the playlist below to see for yourself, then make sure you tune in at 5p today (Saturday) to hear it in all its glory … 🙂
