TONY WEAVER – Monday & Tuesday

Hello. I’ve been a Gateway 97.8 for a year and have thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I;ve been lucky to have been sung to by members of the cast of “Over The Rainbow The Eva Cassidy Sory”; I’ve met the Lord Lieutenant of Essex, Lord Petre; and I’ve spoken to Pete Moore, the managing director of Radio Caroline. I’ve discussed childrens’ playgrounds, photography, local initiatives and other interesting subjects.

The music I get to play during the show is brilliant, a genuine variety, and a great mixture of local and mainstream artists.

And the team at Gateway 97.8 have been very friendly and always helpful.

So I’m looking forward to another very good year of providing music and information to the people of Basildon and East Thurrock on Gateway 97.8.

I can’t wait.
