The Wind in The Willows at Brentwood Theatre  Monday 21st December-Wednesday 23rd December 3pm-5pm or 7:00pm-9pm

The tranquillity of a summer’s picnic along the riverbank is shattered by the incorrigible Toad and his friends, the winsome Mole and the stalwart Rat. Toad is a jovial, friendly and kind-hearted soul, but aimless and conceited with it. He is obsessed with current fads, only to abandon them as quickly as he took them up. Toad’s bumpy path takes him out into the whole wide world where he is arrested and sent to prison.

Although he manages to escape disguised as a washerwoman, he falls into the clutches of a ruthless thief. While searching for Toad, Mole and Rat become lost in the Wild Wood. Saved by the stern but forgiving badger the three animals rescue Toad from the thief, but has Toad really learnt his lesson?

Santa Specials Epping-Ongar Railway Sunday 20th December-Thursday24th December 09:45am  -4:25pm

Our vintage buses will collect you from Epping or Ongar (if requested when booking) and will transport you to North Weald station, where our Santa Special trains will start. Here, adults will receive a complimentary mince pie and a glass of mulled wine, whilst children receive a juice drink and chocolate bar.

Once aboard the train, let the steam engine take the pressure; Santa will make his way through the carraiges, accompanied by his elves, and hand out a gift to all the good boys and girls.

There will be live music to add to the atmosphere, and a magician to entertain the children whilst they await their journey. Maybe there will even be time for a photograph with Santa at one of the stations
